  • The ability to devise and implement quality control procedures that support and sustain quality objectives while representing the VOC.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills:  collect, analyze, and summarize meaningful data, root cause analysis techniques, 8D, DMAIC, DOE, etc.
  • Strong computer skills:  Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral; experienced in direct customer interaction and communication.  Chemical applications background a plus.
  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S/Visual Factory experience a plus.

Materials Supervisor

  • Direct the activities of dock forklift drivers in all activities related to shipping/receiving.
  • Greet and interact with an average of 25-40 incoming truck drivers daily.
  • Work with Production determining production/customer needs.
  • Create and amend daily production schedules based on inventory and customer requirements.
  • Generate invoicing and shippers on a daily basis, as well as paperwork for incoming discrepancies and special billing.
  • Daily contact with customer base verifying production needs and/or problem resolution.

  • Maintain timely and accurate recordkeeping inventory levels, cycle counts, FIFO standards and associate records.
  • Flexibility on hours as it pertains to start / end times and weekend requirements.

  • Proven strong analytical, written and verbal communication and computer skills.
